Last week we had a long weekend so we decided to go to Tagaytay to have dinner. Andrew and I have unsuccessfully tried to look for this restaurant 3 times already so we were determined to find it this time. Tucked away between Tagaytay and Cavite lies an unassuming and beautiful restaurant dubbed by bloggers as "little Tuscany" Such a gorgeous place for a date or to hang out with friends. Although the place was a little too peaceful. My rowdy friends and I had to whisper because we didn't want to ruin the tranquil atmosphere. heheh

The table setting was soooo pretty and the plate of freshly baked bread was to die for. UGH, carbsssss soooo good. I couldn't stop from dipping into the olive oil and vinaigrette! Mmmm

For appetizers, I got the Amalfi Prawns - marinated in salt, olive oil and parsley- coated in flavored breadcrumbs pan fried and set on a flavored crisp. Sooooo good. Andrew had the Galician soup a Spanish broth with ham, kidney and fava beans, lettuce & potatoes. Simple? Yes, but soooo good. It gave us warm soup bellies :)

I ordered the Grilled Aromatic Pork which was bursting with flavor. I could taste garlic, parsley and turmeric. Yum! The juicy and tasty meat went so well with my side order of couscous. The Moroccan Chicken Tangine was great too. Tender chicken with a tangy sauce made from olive oil, lemon and saffron. yum !

The fish Souvlaki was tender and very flavorful too. (I took a bite out of everyone's food haha ) I never order fish because the meat always tempt me! Like Andrew's Italian Pork chop. Generous portion of juicy, tender, slightly charred and flavorful pork. Mmmm

We got four desserts - Homemade vanilla ice cream with grilled orange, fried plantains with nuttela dip, banana(plantains) split, and panna cotta with a lemon sauce.

After this meal we all obviously we all fell into a food coma :)
